Two short subjects: how we treat the people who give, and what this site collects.
Donor confidentiality
We keep our donors confidential.
We do not publish a donor list, and we do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor information with anyone. A gift designated for a chapter fund is recorded so the restriction can be honored, and for no other reason.
What this site collects
Only what you type into a form on this site, and only so we can answer you.
- No analytics. Nothing here measures you, and no visit is counted or profiled.
- No cookies. This site sets none, for any purpose.
- No tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no third-party scripts of any kind.
- No account, no login, and no payment is taken on this site.
- A form you submit is emailed to us and nothing else. There is no database behind this website.
We use what you send only to reply to you. We do not add anyone to a mailing list from a form on this site. If you would like us to delete something you sent us, write to info@restoremaine.org and we will.
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include the internet address a request came from, for security and to keep the site running.
